AI Evolution Course Review

Are you considering joining AI Evolution and want to know if it’s the right fit for you?

If so, you’ve come to the right place! I understand that you might be interested in diving into AI Evolution, the program that’s gaining traction in the digital marketing world for teaching people how to leverage AI tools like ChatGPT to make money online. Before you take the plunge, let’s explore what you really need to know about this program.

First, let’s talk about what AI Evolution actually is. In a nutshell, AI Evolution is an online course designed to teach you how to start and scale your own digital marketing agency using the latest AI tools. The program promises to equip you with the skills and strategies to capitalize on AI technology, potentially turning it into a lucrative income stream.

Sounds promising, right? But is it the real deal?

Or is it just another overhyped course that falls short on delivery?

That’s exactly what I wanted to find out. So, I took a closer look at AI Evolution to see if there were any red flags or potential pitfalls you should be aware of.

In this review, I’ll walk you through everything you need to know about AI Evolution.

Short AI Evolution Summary

Let me start off with the one sentence summary, then we can get into the nity gritty:

AI Evolution is definitely not a scam, but that doesn’t mean they get a pass on their very aggressive marketing and sales tactics…

In short, the review for AI Evolution is quite positive.

The program itself offers a deep dive into the subject matter, and it has a lot of positive reviews from participants. The founders of the program demonstrate their legitimacy by owning an agency for several years with several employees, offices in Melbourne & Sydney, and have video testimonials from irrefutably reputable clients.

The only aspect that prevents a higher legitimacy score is the program’s aggressive marketing approach, which might not appeal to everyone (myself included).

Overall I give the AI Evolution program a 4.1/5 legitimacy score.

Here is a sneak peak into the AI Evolution program dashboard

What To Know Before Joining Lachie Pior’s “AI Evolution” Program

I’ve been in the online marketing game for almost 7 years now and have been earning a full time income online for the last 2 years. I’ve learned how to spot the red flags before signing up. So let’s go through them together.

1.)Are the founders legit?

I’ve gone deeeeep into research mode on Lucas Durante & Lachie Pior who are the co-founders of the program to see what these guys are about, figure out if they are legit or fake guru’s and where they’ve actually come from.

From my research I have found they have been running a digital marketing agency called Veritas Digital for the last 6 years at the time I am writing this article and I guess given their younger ages this is their first entrepreneurial venture. I can’t find anything that pre-dates this business from either of them?

The agency in itself definitely appears to be reasonably successful, they’ve got big clients (billion dollar public companies) and many video testimonials from easily verifiable businesses and business owners. So this in itself if a pretty major green flag for me. While it’s easy for people to photoshop screenshots showing they’re making money in a business model that they’re selling courses on, it’s pretty hard to create a furniture brand from scratch, build a website, fake retail signage and do a video shoot with their founder in the show room. You get where I’m going with this. Pretty hard to fake this kind of proof. This testimonial and others can be found on their website here

The second aspect to the founders that I quite like is that they are starting to produce content actually talking about themselves and sharing their background. A lot of the more questionable fake guru’s hide their faces and shy away from the spotlight, which they don’t seem to be doing at all. I actually quite liked a video Lachie Pior put out about his family and background and why he got into this business model. It definitely comes across quite sincere which I appreciate.

2.) AI Evolution Reputation & Background Check – Does AI Evolution Have A Good Reputation?

Look, despite the fact online fake gurus and digital marketing guys claim to have a lock on how things work online. They can put together a good sales spin and some clever marketing. There is no hiding from a bad reputation…. So I have gone deep into research mode to look for people who have had bad experiences with the AI Evolution course, with their company Scale Smart and with Lachie & Lucas themselves.

Let me start off by saying. I couldn’t really find much. And I went deep. It’s actually surprising how little I found given that some of their ads have literally ten million plus views. They’re around, but there’s just not as much noise as you would expect at the scale they’re operating at.

I did uncover two pieces of negativity.

The first was a thread of people talking very negatively about the advertising and sales process calling them scammers and throwing around a lot of hate. And don’t get me wrong, I really dislike their strategies here too, which I will talk about later in this article. However, nobody in this thread was claiming to be a disgruntled customer who had a bad experience, or had been in the course saying it sucked. So while this isn’t great, it’s actually not a bad sign as this would be the perfect place for disgruntled customers to pile on if they were displeased.

The second thing I found was a couple of people calling them out for running ads to a “live” webinar that was in fact pre-recorded. It doesn’t appear this is a marketing strategy they’re still using, however, again. Their marketing strategies are not something I particularly appreciate and it appears the general population agrees with this.

3.) Are The AI Evolution Students Actually Getting Results?

I want to start off by saying, this is clearly going to be a biased output. They of course will not be sharing testimonials from unhappy students. So the only thing I can base this on is the testimonials they share. Additionally, we have no context for the ratio of success. It’s well and good to have 20 video testimonials, but if thats the only 20 people that got good results out of thousands, this will not be a product you can regard as good.

This being said, yes, there appears to be good results from AI Evolution. I have found dozens of video testimonials and student interviews where they say very very positive things about the course, say they are getting results and in particular they rave about the course being simple to follow and the support being very very good.

In summary of this section, yes AI Evolution appears to get good student results, but you never really know what’s going on behind the curtain.

4.) The BIG Red Flag – AI Evolution Marketing Tactics.

I get it, really, I do. I’ve been in this online marketing game for over half a decade. You do have to do what works to win in business sometimes.

However, the marketing is very aggressive, and at times borders on unethical / misleading. The pitch starts off suggesting it’s a free or low cost model to get started in for beginners, and then they pitch an expensive price tag for the program. And like I said, I get it. If your ad said “buy our expensive program please” you wouldn’t get leads. But I really have a distaste for this kind of marketing and advertising.

Having gone deep on my research I found that Lachie Pior actually once worked for Sabri Suby from King Kong – which if you look these guys up, they’re an Australian marketing agency that is essentially exactly the kind of place you would think Lachie learned these tactics from. Very aggressive copywriting, hard core sales.

This in itself doesn’t make AI Evolution a scam, but. It’s the one red flag I’ve come across for AI Evolution. This does rub me the wrong way but doesn’t and as I mentioned in the background check, this marketing alone is the thing people are leaving negative reviews for AI Evolution for. The ads alone are enough to make people talk trash online. I think this says a lot.

5.) Pro’s Of AI Evolution

  • The first big Pro of the AI Evolution course in my opinion is that the founders are pretty legit. They’ve been running a successful agency for 6+ years, have video testimonials from highly reputable clients and it’s pretty rare that you can find a course from people who actually have proper, verifiable real world success in an industry.
  • The second big pro for AI Evolution is they have a very solid reputation for an info-product business that has been running for 4 years at the time I’m writing this. There’s a little bit of negativity around but given the industry and their marketing, you would expect to see a lot more.
  • The third thing I quite like about AI Evolution is it’s actually a new opportunity. Most courses are in heavily oversaturated industry’s with old, saturated models. The fact their program is utilising this new AI based wave, is pretty clever and would work.
  • The final Pro column item is the video testimonials. I already wrote that these are obviously biased towards the people having the best experience, but dozens of videos with students saying they love the product and no negative reviews from customers saying they bought it and it sucked, it’s a pretty good sign for a solid product.

6.) Con’s Of The AI Evolution Program

  • The first one which you might guess from reading this article. I really dislike the AI evolution marketing. I understand why they feel it needs to be done, but it does come across scammy and gross. I really have a distaste for this style of marketing and sales.
  • The second one is just an inflated sense of an “easy way to make money online” – the reality is, to make money online, it takes hard work, and usually more of it than the average beginner is prepared for. Framing everything as quick and easy and 3 clicks to make money is misleading.
  • Finally The last major thing I dislike about AI Evolution is the fact it’s a basic spin on the SMMA wave. I’m not 100% sure how well AI solves the drawbacks of this model?

AI Evolution Review Conclusion

Look, I’ve reviewed and been through dozens of online programs and I will admit, this is probably a top 3 most impressive course and most legitimate setup I have seen so far. AI Evolution from Scale Smart looks to be a solid course from every angle from the outside looking in. But as with all online education courses, proceed with caution. Do you research, do you due dilligence.
